During the year, especially as the golfing season draws near an end, retailers offer amazing discounts on their outdoor sports equipment. Everyone knows that the winter months aren’t really ideal for the sports fanatic, so plan your bargain shopping accordingly.
If there aren’t any bargains to be found in the retail world, consider a quick visit to your nearest course. While you are there, ask if they have any previously used equipment for sale. As a recreational area, courses have to keep the newest and most innovative pieces of equipment available for their customers. In doing so, they often have to unload their equipment from the previous year(s) and this could mean big savings for you if you know when to ask. The best time is just before a new season is about to begin, which is when the new equipment will be arriving. You know the old saying, “out with the old and in with the new.” If you decide to purchase used equipment, make sure that you aren’t buying something that is badly damaged or broken.
